Chris DeMakes - I'll Be Your Eyes

from by Chris DeMakes & Steve and the Neurotics

/
  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

A split 7" for charity between Chris DeMakes & Steve and the Neurotics in honor of Chris's late grandmother and Steve's late Mother. All proceeds will be donated to the Tidewell Hospice and the Cancer Research Institute of New York. 100 were pressed on red vinyl and 400 on black vinyl. It's Lucky 7's on the red vinyl... meaning... every 7th order gets a red until they're gone. You won't know if you scored a red until you receive your order. We feel that's the fairest so a few people can't buy all the reds and mark them up. :)

lyrics

Mama I can't stand to think you're gone. But you are finally free. Flying so gracefully above.

Everlasting memories how it was meant to be you'll live on endlessly I know.

Sacrifice and compromise when I became your senses you never were defenseless.

I'll be your eyes.
I'll be your legs.
I'll be your hands.

And I will wake up every hour just to make sure you're
alright. Yeah i'll wake up every hour just to make sure you're alright.

Fate was out of our control. Watching you sitting there ever so vulnerable I know. Not a moment I would change. This bond can't be replaced or stronger words conveyed, I know.

Modify and improvise to best reflect your senses. I became your defenses.

I'll be your eyes.
I'll be your legs.
I'll be your hands.

And I will wake up every hour just to make sure you're alright. Yeah
i'll wake up every hour just to make sure you're alright.

Yesterday is just a memory and from what i can see you are the angel beside me.

You're my guiding light and I am yours. Burning inside of me, always alive forevermore.

I'll be your eyes. I'll be your legs, i'll be
your hands. I'll be your eyes.

And now I wake up every day wishing you were still alive.
